SELFRIDGES ANNOUNCE FUR-FREE POLICY
Selfridges continues to sell real animal fur. It is important to keep up the pressure, especially at this time of year, as the fashion buyers begin to think about ordering in their Autumn and Winter collection. There are regular protests at their stores in London, Manchester and Birmingham, Contact us to get involved.
Whether or not you can make the protests, everyone can play their part by contacting Selfridges and asking them to stop the sale of animal fur, including rabbit fur. Write/phone/fax/email politely as many of the addresses below as possible.
Remember it is illegal to farm animals for fur in the UK as it is considered too cruel, yet companies such as Selfridges are allowed to make profits from fur imported from countries where fur farming remains legal. Tell them this is unacceptable, and that until they stop selling fur, you will boycott their shops and you will encourage others to do the same.
There will also be regular protests against Selfridges and other companies selling fur, to get involved.
