Fur protests at Harrods Christmas Parade

Around 40 activists took part in the protest at Harrods annual christmas parade on November 3rd 2007, another great turnout for 8.30 in the morning. With thousands of shoppers and tourists looking on it was an excellent opportunity to remind them about Harrods dirty business, the only department store in the UK still selling real fur. Embarrassed Harrods staff desperately tried to hide our banners with huge balloon displays, and turned up the (awful) music to a deafening level as well to drown out our protests, annoying many of the onlookers as well.

Harrods owner was there to greet Father Christmas, but it was no fun for the animals being tortured and killed in their thousands on fur farms outside the UK to supply Harrods with fur.
